This design is a 5″ x 8″ advertisement that was inserted into packages to advertise selected product for a one month period. Since February is Black History Month, we decided to use this as our theme.
I used iconic imagery from the most famous moments and people in black history. To help achieve the aged/historic feel, I decided to go with a sepia toned, worn look. This paired with some excellent book titles created a visual walk through time.
